Observations: Lost .6 lbs. Total 4.2 lbs. The last two times I ate Dreamfield pasta it did not spike my blood sugar, but this time it did! So, I researched some on the internet. It seems that if you cook the pasta too long or mix the pasta with an acid sauce and not eat it right away or eat mixed sauce and pasta left overs, it will break the protective coating that makes the carbs undigestible and cause a high blood sugar reading.
It tastes too good to give up, so this is what I'll do next time:
1. Undercook pasta, and rinse in cold water to stop cooking process.
2. Plate pasta first, then pour sauce on right before you eat it.
3. Store left over pasta in separate container from sauce.
If this doesn't work, I'm going back to Zucchini Pasta!
